Megyn Kelly accuses CEO Luigi Mangione’s fan club of being ‘holes’ and ‘shit’

Megyn Kelly blasted admirers of accused UnitedHealthcare CEO Luigi Mangione as “a-holes” and “cretins” on Tuesday — insisting she was “really over this nonsense” of those cheering for the Ivy League suspect.

The podcast host took on Mangione’s lackadaisical leftist, 26, a day after he was arrested and later charged in the slaying of high-profile health insurance executive Brian Thompson.

“Can I say I’m really over this bullshit, this guy is no hero at all,” Kelly said on her show Tuesday. “We shouldn’t be praising his good looks – which don’t really exist – all over the internet.”

“These people are sick,” she also said during her opening monologue on “The Megyn Kelly Show.”

The shooting in midtown Manhattan sparked a days-long manhunt before Mangione was spotted at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s and captured by authorities. He is in custody in the Keystone State while he fights extradition to New York.

But some have shamelessly celebrated Mangione and contributed thousands of dollars to an online fundraiser for his legal defense.

Users on X, TikTok and other online platforms have also become fixated on his appearance – and there was even a similar race for the alleged killer in the Big Apple over the weekend before Mangione was caught.

“I’m very upset by this reaction to the murder of the CEO of this insurance company, and it’s very prevalent on the left in how they’re fighting the alleged killer,” the former Fox News host said.

She pointed to comments from former Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz, who said he felt “joy” after Thompson’s murder, and Bulwark’s Tim Miller, who made a remark about the suspected killer’s six-pack abs .

“This guy Brian Thompson has two sons… and their father was killed three weeks before Christmas and these a-holes are talking about how they want to sleep with the killer, how hot he is, what a hero he is to take out the CEO of a company in a unpopular industry,” Kelly said. “… You despair of talking about his belly, you disgusting cretins.”

Authorities are investigating whether a back injury suffered by Mangione in July 2023 led to his alleged cold-blooded killing, a police official said Wednesday.
